For most people trying to lose weight, the most common suggestion is to lower their carbohydrate consumption, and load up on protein and veggies instead. But the problem with cutting carbs is that we end up feeling irritable and angry – we’ve all been there! But with Barnyard Millet or Kuthiraivolly Noodles, you needn’t worry about feeling this way! With the least carbohydrate content among all millets, this millet is perfect for those trying to lose that baby weight!
But this doesn’t mean that barnyard millet is nutritionally scarce. It has a good amount of phosphorous and B-complex vitamins. Besides, this is a millet that takes time to digest and releases energy very slowly, making it good for diabetics or those whose blood sugar is at pre-diabetic levels.
